On the 6th July 2019 Alison Green opened her gardens to the public to raise money for the Josh Carrick Foundation.
On a perfect sunny July afternoon an 8-piece jazz band, ‘Stolen Moments’, and Flamenco group ‘Escuela de Baile de Londres’ entertained over 220 visitors. Guests listen to Jazz as the birds sang and the sun shined and explored the amazing two-acre piece of tranquil space in London, created by award-winning gardener Alison Green. The Flamenco group added some more colour and fun to a great afternoon.
The tearoom was manned by a host of volunteers, friends and family of the foundation and Alison, offering afternoon tea and cake, wine, beer, and bubbly! A huge raffle saw people walking home with sunflowers, candles, jams and much more, raising over £1,000.
The event raised over £4,000 for the Josh Carrick foundation, a lovely afternoon for a great cause.
Thank you to all who came along and supported and to Alison Green for her continued support of the foundation.
